The GRUPA MTP Gold Medal is the most prestigious innovation award in Poland. The products and services submitted in the various categories are evaluated by renowned experts. The official award ceremony will take place during TAROPAK in Poznań.
On the right track
For us, the award is confirmation that we are on the right track with the development of TruePaper. The main drivers behind the development of TruePaper are the sustainability strategies and goals of our customers, the legal bans on (single-use) plastic in more and more countries, the increasingly important implementation of the circular economy and, last but not least, our own motivation and promise to always offer our customers the best packaging solution.
We see a great demand for TruePaper and banding in general in all our markets. The desire – or rather the pressure – to do without unnecessary packaging material and plastic is great. The high raw material and energy costs add to the pressure. Banding means on the one hand only as little packaging material as absolutely necessary, and on the other hand banding machines also consume around 98% less electricity than shrink tunnels, for example.
About TruePaper
TruePaper is an environmentally friendly, ultrasonic and heat-sealable paper band. TruePaper consists of optionally virgin or more than 50% recycled fibers. It can be recycled in the normal paper cycle and is suitable for direct food contact.
