Welcome to The Sustainable Packaging News Awards 2024
Highlighting the most ground-breaking and innovative sustainable packaging innovations from the past year. It is completely free to enter and will be judged by a World-class panel of judges.
Winners will be announced at our virtual awards ceremony on the 18th November. Entries close middle of May.
The Virtual Awards ceremony video will be shared online and across all our social media channels, the winners will also be featured within the SPN Magazine.

The Award Categories
Sustainable Packaging Machinery
Innovative packaging machines which have facilitated the use of environmentally friendly materials. Also incorporates machinery which has improved production line efficiencies (in terms of waste or energy reduction)
Resource Efficiency
Innovations in the packaging sector which help to utilise resources in a way in which is better for our planet. This can include a reduction in material usage, or reducing the overall carbon footprint.
Circular Economy
The Circular economy award covers new uses for recycled materials, innovative reusable packaging systems or recycling technologies, also initiatives which promote recycling and reuse.
Recyclable Innovation
Innovations in packaging design or materials which help the final product to be recycled.
Sustainable Sourcing
Recognizes companies who have sourced more sustainable materials.
SPN Awards Overall Winner
Goes to the best innovation which our judges feel has contributed the most to help our planet.
