Oumph! was declared winner in the Best Plant-based Packaging category in the prestigious World Plant-based Awards, the ceremony held on the 8th of September at the Plant-Based World Expo North America in New York.
Dan Bunt, Marketing Manager at FoodBev Media and World Plant-based Awards comments the win:
“The competition this year was exceptionally close and I hope all finalists and entrants are proud of their accomplishments. The Oumph! packing has an iconic design that stands out to consumers and fortunately stood out to our panel of judges as the winner of best plant-based packaging.”
The winning Oumph! packaging design was created by the talented team at Sunhouse Creative and project managed by Linda Arnason, Global Brand Manager at Oumph! and the packaging team at LIVEKINDLY Collective.
“We are thrilled to receive this prestigious award”, says Henrik Åkerman, Global Brand Leader at Oumph!, which is one of LIVEKINDLY Collective’s brands. “Oumph! is a progressive choice and we wanted the packaging to match that. With our new recyclable packaging, the aim is to further limit our environmental impact. The team has done a fantastic job in creating the new design and packaging, I’m very proud of them.”
Oumph! is part of LIVEKINDLY Collective, a collection of plant-based food brands offering sustainable food options to consumers across 40+ markets. All LIVEKINDLY Collective brands, including Fry’s – who were also finalists in the World Plant-based Awards Packaging Category – has announced the move to sustainable packaging already, with more LIVEKINDLY Collective brands following in their footsteps.
