Renowned for its global presence in flexible packaging and strong focus on excellence in innovation and sustainability, Gualapack has acquired Print & Packaging Farma’s activities through its subsidiary Gualapack Pharma S.r.l.
Print & Packaging Farma was founded in 2015 in Acqui Terme (AL, Italy), and has achieved outstanding specialization in digital printing on aluminum for the manufacture of primary packaging, mostly destined to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical products.
In particular, the Acqui Terme plant that opened in 2017 – which is certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 15378 and ISO 22000 – is a technologically advanced industrial site designed exclusively for the printing and cutting of cold-form blister foil for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications in ISO-8 cleanroom.
This is a strategic acquisition allowing the international group to expand its range of products and services for the pharmaceutical field, where Gualapack is already present with high-performance laminates for Sachets and Stickpacks, also available with high barrier and made with recyclable material.
