On December 13, 2022, Evertis welcomed clients, suppliers, partners and media to the inauguration of its new site in Monterrey, Mexico. Mrs. Madalena Matos Gil, the matriarch of the family-owned business, was on hand to host visitors and review progress in the plant which opened one year ago.
Evertis has been present in Mexico for over 20 years thanks to the trust and collaboration of its clients and strategic partners. In support of growing these valued relationships, the business chose to invest in this new manufacturing site to enhance its strong leadership position in Mexico and growing presence in the US and Canada.
The Monterrey manufacturing facility is well positioned to support strong growth in high-barrier materials and, through the introduction of new products, penetration into new end-use segments such as medical and pharmaceutical packaging.
The new facility has an annual capacity of over 22k tons and, in 2023, will further expand to 36k tons. Evertis offers innovation, flexibility, service and security to clients and, through the addition of this new site, will ensure these key differentiators will be available to its growing customer base.
The growth of the Evertis business in Monterrey and the opening of this new site ensures the business will continue to be a major employer in this important industrial city offering first-class working conditions to its talented employees.
