Fresh-Lock® Style 8041, the latest addition to our new Fresh-Lock+ Renewables line, is a fully recyclable, bio-based zipper crafted from sugarcane. Beginning with sugarcane, which undergoes a process to produce bioethanol, this renewable resource is then transformed into ethylene and further into polyethylene resin. The result is a particle resistant, bio-based PE zipper that meets both manufacturer and consumer performance standards. What sets this closure apart from other particle-resistant closures is its origin from a plant that actively absorbs carbon from the atmosphere during its growth cycle, contributing to carbon negativity in nature.
