For the first time, Hinojosa Packaging Group will participate in Hispack 2024, a leading trade fair for the packaging sector in Spain. The event, taking place in Barcelona from May 7 to 10, will bring together over 30,000 professionals to promote the positive impact, innovation, and logistics of packaging in the industry, for people and the planet.
In this new edition, the company, specialising in sustainable packaging solutions, arrives at Hispack as part of its ongoing commitment to excellence in packaging design, paving the way towards a more efficient future based on the circular economy.

This approach is evident in the products showcased at Hispack 2024, featuring a comprehensive catalogue of sustainable packaging for various sectors. Notably, its plastic-replacement and e-commerce products, specialised foodservice solutions, and offerings for fresh and frozen food, agriculture, as well as its exclusive premium packaging, stand out.
Products setting a benchmark in innovation
Hinojosa's commitment to sustainability is the driving force behind research and development of environmentally friendly materials and efficient production processes. Examples of this are packaging that replaces single-use plastic, such as Halopack or Sumbox, and award-winning items like the water-soluble capsule packaging developed for SPB or the BiB (Bag in Box) ink drum solution made for Akcoat.

The first is for beverages (hot and cold); the second product line is for dairy products such as yoghurts and ice cream; and the third is for food packaging - called FoodContainer - 4th and 5th range ready meals.
Premium packaging will also be a highlight at Hispack 2024, where Hinojosa will showcase its packaging for gourmet foods, wines, and cosmetics, blending the highest design and sustainability standards to achieve perfect harmony between packaging, design, and product.
Hispack to award three Liderpack prizes to Hinojosa during the fair
Hinojosa's presence at Hispack 2024 (stand 187) will be accentuated by its participation in the prestigious LiderPack Awards. At the May 8 gala, the company will receive three awards for its innovative packaging solutions. These awards reinforce Hinojosa’s position as a leader in sustainable packaging design and manufacturing, particularly due to its innovative approach in a range of categories.
The Christmas hamper designed specifically for the Disber Group was recognized as the best in logistics and distribution packaging, while the sustainable packaging for single-dose water-soluble detergent, developed with SPB, won in the category for the best household product packaging. Additionally, the smart packaging for traceability featuring unique QR codes was singled out as the best digital packaging.
Participating in Hispack 2024 and receiving these prestigious awards further establishes Hinojosa as a benchmark in the packaging industry, underpinned by its relentless pursuit of excellence and its ability to transform innovation into tangible solutions.
