CMB Engineering (CMbE) has appointed Zak Miller as General Manager, effective 22 April 2026, as it accelerates the growth of its reverse vending machine (RVM) business – CMB RVM Solutions.
Joining CMB RVM Solutions, Zak will report to Andrew Truelove, SVP CMbE Canmaking Solutions, and take responsibility for leading and growing the RVM division. He will provide strategic and commercial direction as the business scales, with a focus on driving sales, developing partnerships, supporting customers, and building a strong, sustainable reverse vending operation.
Zak brings significant experience within the RVM sector, having held senior leadership roles across the UK. He has a strong track record of securing major opportunities, developing key accounts, and delivering consistent year-on-year growth. His experience includes heading major RVM programmes with leading retailers and wholesalers, delivering multi-million-pound equipment sale, alongside long-term service and maintenance contracts.
Zak’s expertise spans tender management, stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and the development of end-to-end business models. Combined with his ability to build teams and scale operations, this positions him well to lead the next phase of growth for CMB RVM Solutions.
CMB RVM Solutions is a strategic partnership between CMB Engineering, Crown Holdings, and European RVM specialists Returmatic and Pure Recycle. Together, the partnership combines engineering expertise, global packaging leadership, and proven DRS experience across established European markets.
