
Wheaton, a Global Leader in Glass Packaging Design and Manufacturing, Celebrates Another Achievement by Winning the 2025 WorldStar Global Packaging Awards in the “Luxury” Category with Donna Karan’s Cashmere Collection (Interparfums, Inc.).
The award is one of the most prestigious international recognitions in the sector, honouring projects that transform the consumer experience and promote innovation, functionality, and sustainability.
Launched in February 2024, the Cashmere Collection marks Donna Karan’s return to the fragrance market and features packaging developed by Wheaton that blends art and cutting-edge technology. The collection includes four perfumes, all housed in identical bottles that evoke the touch of cashmere and the draping of the brand’s iconic dress. The bottles feature sculpted silhouettes and organic shapes that interact with light, creating a sophisticated and striking visual impact.
With minimalist decoration and transparency, the packaging was designed to reflect the essence of the modern woman. Advanced techniques, such as fire polishing, were employed to highlight the soft reliefs and glass brilliance, while the thick base enhances the elegance and robustness of the design.
The recognition at the 2025 WorldStar Global Packaging Awards crowns a year of successes for the Cashmere Collection. The collection won the Gold Trophy at the Brazilian Packaging Association (ABRE) Awards in August 2024, stood out at the Grandes Cases de Embalagem Awards in October, and was a finalist at the prestigious Formes de Luxe Awards in the Fragrance & Cosmetics Bottle category.
