VPK Packaging UK & Ireland, part of VPK Group, has appointed a new Plant General Manager at its Banbury manufacturing site, reinforcing the Group’s continued investment in leadership, operational excellence, and UK manufacturing capability.
Del Pollard, who joins VPK from Smurfit Westrock, brings more than 15 years’ experience in complex manufacturing environments, with a strong track record in driving operational performance, continuous improvement, and team development.
Throughout his career, Del has led large operational teams and delivered measurable improvements across safety, efficiency, and output. In his new role he will work closely with the site leadership team to set the strategic direction and lead the Banbury operation forward.
On his appointment, Del said: “I’m delighted to be joining VPK at such an exciting time for the business. VPK has a strong reputation for quality, investment, and people, and I’m looking forward to working with the Banbury team to build on those foundations.
