TekniPlex Healthcare, a global leader in advanced materials science and precision manufacturing for medical and pharmaceutical markets, celebrated the 20th anniversary of TekniPlex China with a two-day series of events that brought together more than 100 government officials, customers, partners, and industry representatives. The celebration highlighted two decades of growth, innovation, and commitment to the Chinese and Asia-Pacific markets.
Founded in 2005, TekniPlex China has evolved from a regional manufacturing base into a key R&D and production hub for the Asia-Pacific region, supporting both multinational corporations and fast-growing local innovators. Its 22,300-square-meter facility in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016, specializes in medical tubing, particles, and spray components produced in Class 10,000 and Class 100,000 cleanrooms and distributes a range of medical packaging materials from across the TekniPlex global network.
The milestone was marked by two celebrations: an employee event on September 22, coinciding with the company’s recent recognition as one of the 2025 Greater Suzhou Best Employers, and an official ceremony on September 23 attended by global leadership, local officials, and industry peers. The events underscored TekniPlex China’s dual commitment to its people and to the broader healthcare community.
The ceremony opened with a vibrant employee dragon dance, symbolizing “Twenty Years of Progress, Leaping into a New Future.” Brenda Chamulak, President and CEO of TekniPlex, reaffirmed China’s central role in the company’s global strategy. “Even amid changing global dynamics, TekniPlex continues to view China as essential to our long-term vision. We are committed to local innovation, global resource support, and continuous investment that drives sustainable growth,” she said.
Suj Mehta, CEO of TekniPlex Healthcare, emphasized China’s significance in advancing medical technologies and patient outcomes globally. “China is one of the world’s most dynamic healthcare markets and a leader in setting global trends,” Mehta said. “Our strategy Customer Intimacy powered by Global Integration, focuses on rapid responsiveness, early collaboration, and consistent quality worldwide. TekniPlex is investing for the long term to serve patients, providers, and partners across Asia.”
Eldon Schaffer, CEO of TekniPlex Consumer Products, also highlighted the growing collaboration between TekniPlex’s business units. “Our strength lies in working together across divisions, combining innovation, materials science, and global supply chain capabilities to better serve our customers,” Schaffer said. “China will continue to play a critical role in this journey.”
Jessica Chen, Managing Director of TekniPlex China, reflected on her 15-year journey with the company and the team’s role in building a trusted, high-performance organization. “Our progress is rooted in the trust of our customers and the dedication of our people,” Chen said. “We will continue to uphold quality, accelerate responsiveness, and create long-term value for our partners.”
During the event, 23 TekniPlex experts from global business units joined Chinese colleagues to host six themed product sessions spanning medical materials, tubing, silicone products, interventional device solutions, sterilization packaging, and multi-performance packaging. Guests also toured the Suzhou plant to see firsthand TekniPlex’s precision extrusion, cleanroom assembly, and global quality systems in action, further reinforcing the site’s role as the company’s Asia-Pacific innovation and manufacturing hub.
