
A mechanical engineering graduate from Sórocaba University of Engineering, Brazil, Ruslan Pereira brings a wealth of experience to his new position. Having started his career managing maintenance teams for port equipment, Ruslan quickly demonstrated his aptitude for leadership, overseeing a team of 25 professionals early in his career. His technical and sales expertise was further honed during his nine years with German manufacturing giant Liebherr, where he worked across Brazil as a sales engineer.
Ruslan joined Lindemann in May 2023 in a sales territory role, a position that marked his return to his hometown of Sórocaba after 12 years of working across Brazil. Since then, he has undertaken extensive training in Germany and the US, visiting customers and installations across South America, deepening his understanding of Lindemann’s advanced equipment. His efforts have already contributed to significant achievements, including being part of the team that delivered Lindemann’s largest-ever contract.
Deep market understanding
“Ruslan’s unique combination of technical expertise, sales acumen, and people skills make him the ideal candidate to lead our sales efforts in South America,” said Alexander Zinn, Lindemann’s Global Sales Director. “His deep understanding of the region’s market dynamics, coupled with his knowledge of German engineering culture, positions us well to expand our footprint and strengthen customer relationships.”
As Sales Manager for South America, Pereira’s priorities include enhancing aftermarket support for Lindemann’s existing – and extensive – field population of machines — and promoting the company’s new product lines, such as the first Lindemann-branded shredders in the region. With the ability to support large-scale steel mills and meet the growing demand for high-capacity recycling equipment, Lindemann is well-positioned to support the region’s evolving recycling needs.
