Power Adhesives, the global leader in hot melt adhesive technology, has announced the appointment of Ross Cunningham as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Ross joins the company at an exciting time, as Power Adhesives is set for its next phase of strategic growth across the European and North American markets.
Ross brings extensive leadership experience from a range of global manufacturing and engineering sectors, having previously led market-leading companies in fluid power, engineered sealing solutions, carbide tooling, and abrasives.

Founded in the UK, Power Adhesives is a specialist manufacturer with a well-established international presence. Over the last 3 years of Longacre ownership, Power Adhesives has made significant investments in sales, marketing and product development.
The company celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024 and remains firmly committed to innovation. Its most recent breakthrough—the world’s first fully certified, biodegradable hot melt adhesive—has attracted significant global interest.

Ross takes over from previous CEO Brendan Colgan who, after taking the company forward in a range of key markets, will continue to be a shareholder and board member at Power Adhesives.
Operating from its manufacturing facility in Basildon, UK, Power Adhesives produces the industry’s largest range of industrial glue guns and high-performance shaped hot melt adhesives. These products, along with a selection of bulk hot melt adhesives available for high-volume applications, are distributed globally under the Tec and Tecbond brand names.
