Reiser UK, the leading supplier of innovative processing and packaging technologies, will make its PATS debut this September, showcasing processing, forming and packaging technologies designed to help pet food manufacturers improve efficiency, product consistency and production flexibility.
Taking place at the NEC Birmingham from 27-29 September, PATS brings together businesses from across the UK pet industry. Reiser’s first appearance at the exhibition will give manufacturers the opportunity to discuss their production challenges directly with the company’s processing and packaging specialists. Exhibiting on Stand M65, Reiser will demonstrate producing pet treats using a VEMAG HP1 with a cut-off unit and conveyor. The demonstration will show how an accurately controlled, repeatable forming process supports efficient production of consistent, high-quality treats.
In addition to the equipment being demonstrated, the Reiser team will highlight its ability to provide complete production solutions encompassing preparation, processing, forming and packaging. Equipment can be supplied as an individual machine or integrated into a complete line designed around the manufacturer’s product, capacity and operational requirements.
Ryan Jones, managing director at Reiser UK, said: “Pet food is an important and continually developing market, so we are delighted to be exhibiting at PATS for the first time. It gives us an excellent opportunity to demonstrate our expertise and speak directly with manufacturers about the challenges they face in producing consistent, high-quality products efficiently.
“Our HP1 demonstration will show how controlled portioning and forming can be used to produce pet treats with excellent consistency. Beyond the equipment on the stand, our specialists will also be available to discuss complete processing and packaging solutions tailored to each manufacturer’s products and ambitions.”
Reiser works with manufacturers across a broad range of pet food applications, helping them address requirements such as increasing throughput, reducing manual handling, improving portion accuracy and consistency, supporting product development and achieving reliable packaging performance.
Its experienced specialists work closely with customers to understand their complete process before recommending a solution. This enables equipment to be configured and integrated to deliver dependable performance while retaining the flexibility needed to accommodate different products, formats and future production demands.
Away from the exhibition, manufacturers can also visit Reiser UK’s Customer Centre in Milton Keynes to trial their own products, test machinery and work alongside specialists on product development, processing and packaging. The hands-on facility allows customers to assess potential solutions, refine their processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, consistency, efficiency and scalability before introducing equipment into production.
