RAFESA attended PCD Paris, the benchmark trade fair in the cosmetic and perfume product packaging sector, as an exhibitor for the first time this year. Attending this international event represents a new milestone in our history, consolidating our commitment to packaging innovation and sustainability.
A satisfying début on the international stage
Our experience at PCD was highly positive. “We have reached a new milestone with this début as an exhibitor on the international stage”, explains Anna Escribano, CEO of RAFESA. “We achieved our goal to attend this year, and we very much enjoyed all the preparations ahead of time and the two days of the event itself. It was a huge pleasure to share this space with both clients and professionals from the sector”, she added.
PCD Paris has reaffirmed its position as the benchmark event for the industry, with a constantly increasing number of attendees. “This is demonstrated every year by the data on attendance, both exhibitors and visitors. In fact, the show took place in a larger pavilion this year because more space was needed”, said Anna Escribano, adding that “there was a palpable interest among the public to discover all the latest news and take stock of the sector”.
Positive reception and valuable contacts
Our stand was designed to reflect the soul of RAFESA: Simple, timeless lines that give off light and warmth. We like our visitors to feel comfortable and well attended. Our LED screen was one of the things with the strongest impact, “a visual medium that let us display our portfolio of outstanding products both in general and in detail”.
In terms of the contacts made, we had the opportunity to connect with various client profiles ranging from niche brands to major companies. “That is unquestionably what makes these trade fairs so enriching: being able to reach different profiles and all of them being of such interest”. Furthermore, we are sure that many of these quality leads will become partnerships in the future.
The trends defining the future of packaging
This year’s event highlighted the importance of interaction with the user. “Packaging in general seeks to improve the perception and use of the product, and this translates into offering solutions that are innovative and sustainable”, says the CEO of RAFESA.
The demand for more sustainable materials continues to grow. Mono-material options are increasingly in demand because they can be more easily disposed of and they improve the recycling process. There is also a growing interest in materials and processes that foster the circular economy, encouraging a more efficient use of resources.
Conclusion: an experience to be repeated
This first year as an exhibitor at PCD Paris was a début full of lessons and opportunities. “We are very excited to repeat the experience next year”, concludes Anna Escribano. This first year at the event has strengthened RAFESA’s position in the sector and the company remains fully committed to innovation, sustainability and excellence in packaging for cosmetic and perfume products.
