Leading food wrapping manufacturer Prowrap is celebrating success on the south coast after its groundbreaking Speedwrap Pro dispenser won a prestigious award at the 2025 Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) Awards.
Prowrap took home the trophy for the Product Innovation – Back of House category from a glitzy ceremony held at the Grand Hotel in Brighton, after The Speedwrap Pro’s unique safety blade, antimicrobial technology, and plastic-free refill rolls impressed the FPA judging panel. The award win represents a triumph for local manufacturing, as every Speedwrap Pro is manufactured in the UK.
Jon Crowley, CEO of Prowrap Ltd spoke after taking to the stage to accept the award, saying, “This is a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work, passion, and commitment of Team Prowrap. Everyone at the company can feel proud – the whole team has contributed in some way to the amazing success the Speedwrap Pro has enjoyed since it launched last year.

The award win comes just days before the first anniversary of the Speedwrap Pro’s launch, which took place at the Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) event in 2024.
“We couldn’t ask for a better end to the Speedwrap Pro’s first year on the market,” added Crowley. “The response we’ve seen from customers since its launch has been truly inspiring – and this FPA Award is the icing on the cake. The FPA Awards is a yearly award ceremony highlighting the best and most successful innovations in the UK foodservice market. This year, the event was hosted by renowned comedian Tom Allen.
