Only a few more weeks to go now: from 23 to 25 September 2025, the Fachpack exhibition in Nuremberg will be opening its doors once again – and the PackSynergy Group will be in attendance with another strong showing. The biggest network of mid-market, owner-managed packaging wholesalers comprises 24 European partner companies and will be presenting innovative packaging solutions, sustainable technologies and tailored services for the entire value chain at a joint 240 square metre booth in Hall A4 (Stand 326).
The German companies Adrians Papier GmbH, HLS Business Systems GmbH (Huwald Liebschner GmbH), HORNA GmbH Verpackungen, Kopp Verpackungen GmbH, Neuhaus Papier GmbH, Papier Liebl GmbH and Wepa Verpackungen GmbH as well as several European network partners have some exciting exhibits lined up.
Technology meets efficiency – solutions from group suppliers
Highlights from group suppliers such as Sealed Air and Emba-Protec will be among the solutions on show from the PackSynergy portfolio.
Sealed Air exhibits will be represented under the AUTOBAG® brand with various systems for automating packaging processes including PS 125 OneStep™, the compact tabletop solution for short runs with a built-in imprinter, AB500 with Maximizer, the semi-automatic counting system for high cycle rates, and AB550 with Detab DG 601, the fully automatic feeder for very small parts assisted by a vision system. All of these machines work with recyclable or reusable bags to avoid unnecessary resource usage.
Two ultra-smart systems from Emba-Protec will be showcased by PackSynergy under the motto “Maximum product protection, minimum material usage”. TrayTec® enables individual, fully automated tray packaging with improved process reliability while Buzz’n’Pack® is ideal for decentralized packing stations because it packs in seconds at the touch of a button. Both systems provide high efficiency, keep inventories to a minimum and reduce packaging diversity and waste.
PayPerPallet – the group solution for smart pallet wrapping
PayPerPallet – a joint solution from all PackSynergy partners for modern, sustainable pallet wrapping – is an excellent example of group-wide cooperation. It will be demonstrated at FachPack on a high-speed wrapper featuring advanced IoT technology, motorized pre-stretching and intuitive touch screen control. At the heart of PayPerPallet is the integrated Stretchmate system for digital recording and cloud-based monitoring of film consumption. The pay-per-use billing principle guarantees maximum transparency – with no need for any significant initial investment.
Strong partners, made-to-measure solutions – other exhibitors at a glance
Adrians Papier GmbH will be taking advantage of FachPack to present a broad portfolio of paper, cardboard, plastic, corrugated board and glass packaging solutions. The emphasis will be on customized developments to meet specific product requirements – from sustainable packaging alternatives to brand-compliant design concepts.
HLS Business Systems GmbH, a subsidiary of Huwald Liebschner GmbH, will be presenting the FENTEC SCALE CABINET™ as an intelligent self-service solution for automated material supply. This smart cabinet featuring integrated weighing technology enables precise inventory monitoring in real time – ideal for bulk materials or small parts. Withdrawals are automatically recorded and booked into the user’s own ERP system. With optional RFID integration, variable compartment sizes and cloud-based control, HLS offers a scalable solution for digitizing complex procurement processes.
HORNA GmbH Verpackungen will be bringing along ergonomic packing table solutions featuring sustainable technology and smart load monitoring. Customizable solutions from Ranpak (Rocholz), which effectively reduce strain from overexertion and promote healthy, efficient working throughout the packaging process, will be among the exhibits. The live use of state-of-the-art sensor technology to record physical strain on the back, knees, hips and shoulders at packing stations will be a particular highlight at the Nuremberg fair. The data obtained in this way allows concrete approaches to be identified for workstations and processes that are individually optimized according to ergonomic aspects. Paper cushioning machines like PadPak® Guardian and FillPak TT round off the overall ergonomic concept. Apart from sustainable packaging with low material usage, these also create a more ergonomic working environment by combining ease of operation with smart integration into the workflow.
Other practical aids such as HORNA’s BASIC semi-automatic gluing machine for a variety of carton formats, the compact Flöter Airwave air cushion wrapper for lasting product protection and the mobile, cordless wet tape dispenser with variable tape length and quick roll change for increased efficiency at every packing station will likewise be on display.
Papier Liebl GmbH will be focusing on personal protective equipment (PPE), which covers everything from gloves, knives, masks, hearing protectors and goggles to corporate wear for safe working in the packing area.
The Wepa Group and its companies Wepa Verpackungen GmbH, Kopp Verpackungen GmbH and Neuhaus Papier GmbH will be joining forces with Intercept Technology GmbH to present reliable, resource-friendly innovations for corrosion protection and long-term storage in line with industrial requirements. With seven different sites, in-house R&D and a large direct warehouse, the Wepa Group is proud of its role helping to shape a new packaging culture under the motto “Rethinking packaging together”.
