The PackSynergy Group will be in attendance once again at the 2024 edition of the European trade fair for packaging, technology and processing in Nuremberg. From 24 to 26 September, the successful business network will be presenting innovative new products and solutions covering all aspects of packaging at a 240 square metre joint booth dedicated to its 21 European member companies – this time in Hall 4 A, Stand 326. Adrians Papier GmbH, HORNA GmbH Verpackungen, Kopp Verpackungen GmbH, Papier Liebl GmbH and Wepa Verpackungen GmbH of Germany as well as the UAB SOMI group with sites in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia will be directly represented there as co-exhibitors.
“Our aim is to strengthen SOMI’s presence in the European market, build up contacts with potential customers, partners and suppliers and gain valuable insights into the packaging industry’s latest trends and innovations”, says CEO Ingrida Slidžiauskienė, describing the group’s motivation to participate at the event. She sees Fachpack as an important trade show for the packaging industry in Europe. It provides an opportunity to learn from industry experts and thought leaders, share your own experiences and knowledge and make meaningful connections with packaging professionals.
Apart from the above-mentioned firms, PackSynergy will also be representing more partners from Germany as well as several other European countries at the upcoming Fachpack, namely Denmark, Finland, Greece / Bulgaria, the UK, the Netherlands, the Netherlands / Belgium, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, Serbia / Croatia / Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia / Croatia and Spain.
“Thanks to the European network, our members are in a position to supply to customers across different locations throughout Europe”, asserts Thomas A. Baur, CEO of PackSynergy, citing one of the network’s numerous benefits. The mutual exchange among network members is very effective and brings clear competitive advantages. According to Baur, the transfer of know-how, further training, market monitoring and development work are high on the list of priorities at PackSynergy. “We intend to continue expanding the packaging network in Europe systematically and interested organizations are cordially invited to join us.”
Co-exhibitors’ exhibits at Fachpack
Adrians GmbH will present the new Pregis Airspeed Ascent bubble wrap machine that works with 100 percent recyclable film and up to 80 percent PRC. It is designed to process bubble wrap up to 80 centimetres wide. The Pregis Packmaster Pro, featuring continuous paper loading and an optional transfer system to a basket dispenser, will likewise be on show.
Pay per Pallet from HORNA GmbH Verpackungen is an innovative, end-to-end solution for pallet wrapping combining cloud-based data analyses, a transparent cost structure per wrapped pallet and low material and investment costs. It also puts the emphasis on ergonomics: state-of-the-art sensor technology enables optimized employee comfort, health and productivity at the packing table.
An innovative product called “Stretch Forte” will be exhibited by UAB SOMI. This special film, containing 30 percent recycled material, is characterized by advanced casting technologies and offers significant advantages for product packaging. The film’s high quality and efficiency help reduce expenditure on packaging materials and waste management.
Papier Liebl GmbH is well-established in the field of PPE (personal protective equipment) and will be travelling to Fachpack with (safety) gloves, (safety) knives, goggles, masks, hearing protectors, corporate wear and more PPE-relevant products.
Along with other products from their respective portfolios, Wepa Verpackungen GmbH and Kopp Verpackungen GmbH plan to demonstrate a wood substitute for honeycomb boxes at the Nuremberg show. As an ideal alternative to wood, it not only cuts the costs for transport and logistics but is also highly sustainable. The hexagonal structure of the honeycomb corrugated board allows it to be utilized easily and very efficiently for both heavy and light goods in export and shipping.
