MULTIVAC's presence at this year's Seafood Expo Global (06 – 08/05) will focus on packaging solutions that focus on both production efficiency and sustainability. Packaging and handling solutions will be on display that improve the shelf life of fish and seafood and also ensure an attractive presentation at the point of sale. In addition to a solution for the production of high-quality vacuum skin packaging, MULTIVAC will be showing how sensitive fish products in particular can be packaged gently and safely.
With the TX 620 traysealer , MULTIVAC offers a compact and economical answer to the rising costs and increasing demands on the seafood industry. The machine's small footprint ensures optimal use of space and allows seamless integration into a wide variety of production environments – even in a two-lane version for even greater efficiency if required. Particular attention has been paid to sustainability: the durable design minimizes resource consumption and, depending on the area of application, compressed air or cooling water can be completely dispensed with. The machine processes a wide range of tray materials – from plastic to paper- and fiber-based alternatives. The packaging machine is supplemented by an L 310 conveyor belt labeller, which ensures high-quality packaging presentation with an attractive FullWRAP label.
In addition, the compact thermoforming packaging machine R 105 MF for the production of high-quality MultiFreshTM vacuum skin packaging will be exhibited in Barcelona. As a standalone solution, the R 105 MF is characterized by a minimal footprint, which makes it particularly attractive for small companies as well as companies that require a high degree of flexibility in their production. The MultiFresh™ process ensures optimum packaging results and safe and attractive vacuum skin packaging, even for foods with sharp or hard components such as bones or shells, as well as for products with a high product protrusion.
MULTIVAC will be demonstrating its expertise in the automated processing of sensitive fish products at the trade fair with the H 224 handling module. This solution was specially developed for the safe, hygienic and product-friendly handling of fish products – demonstrated at the trade fair using salmon portions. Thanks to the precise delta kinematics, the portions can be picked up particularly carefully and placed precisely in trays.
