At Fakuma 2024, pal plast will showcase new advanced solutions for plastic processors in Hall A5 at Booth A5-5001. "The trend in the industry continues toward closed material loops," explains managing director and co-owner Amit Wirnik.
"With our modern technical equipment, our long-standing expertise, and our highly qualified staff, we support our customers in setting up production with as little waste as possible. Our products combine maximum quality with a minimal ecological footprint and set new standards in the industry."
PALPROP STATEC: Electrically Conductive PP Compound
The new PALPROP STATEC will be seen for the first time in Friedrichshafen and fully meets this claim. The PP compound is electrically conductive due to a high carbon black content and excellent dispersion. The material is also suitable for the production of transport containers for sensitive electronic components, due to its particularly high impact toughness.
PALPROP STATEC can be processed using all common methods, particularly injection molding and extrusion, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. Like all pal plast compounds, PALPROP STATEC is available with a variable recycled content, which in this case can be up to 100% of the polymer content.
Josef Wirnik, founder and co-owner of pal plast, explains: "With PALPROP STATEC, we are demonstrating our diverse capabilities in compounding. In addition to polypropylene, we can also make ABS, polyethylene, and polystyrene conductive with varying recycled content."
Pal plast will also introduce a new generation of PMMA recycling types, available in elegant piano black or transparent. These PMMA-recompounds set new standards in the combination of sustainability and aesthetics with up to 100% recycled polymer content. They are ideal for applications requiring the highest optical standards, such as visible parts in the automotive industry or luxurious cosmetic packaging.
Visitors to Fakuma can also expect an expanded portfolio of virgin-based compounds at the pal plast booth, including polyamides and PBT, which are also available with glass fiber reinforcement.
New Capacities
Investments in more capacity and even higher quality at pal plast continue: Josef and Amit Wirnik are proud to announce that a significant new facility will be inaugurated just in time for Fakuma: "In September, we commissioned a new compounding line." The facility is designed for the highest processing temperatures, enabling the compounding of high-performance plastics such as PEEK. Sustainable and high-quality plastic compounds are increasingly being used in demanding applications. Our customers can rely on us to continue to do everything possible to provide them with the best solutions and excellent service for their specific requirements. We work on this every day."
Invitation for Exchange
The entire pal plast team looks forward to many productive professional discussions. "We invite all plastics processors who want to establish or have already established a closed-loop system in their operations to visit our booth. Find out how easy it can be to enter or expand the circular economy when you have an experienced and competent partner at your side. On our newly designed website, you can already find information about our extensive portfolio and the quantities available."
Pal plast analyzes customers' material flows upon request, develops a system with them for collecting excess or production waste, and takes over their reprocessing. If necessary, the company also sources additional recycled material for its customers and supplies ready-to-use recompounds in the desired quality and quantity. The materials are tested and certified in the in-house laboratory. The production is monitored as precisely and closely as at hardly any other provider. "As far as I know, no one monitors production as closely as we do," says Amit Wirnik confidently.
