Masterpress, a European provider of printed decorative packaging solutions, will spotlight the latest trends in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) packaging, exhibiting its newest developments at FACHPACK, from 23 to 25 September in Nuremberg, Germany.
Masterpress will display its award-winning shrink sleeve products and unveil new single-layer PE pouches and paper-based pouches with barrier properties. All showcased solutions are manufactured in accordance with the “design for recycling” guidelines, set by pan-European industry associations. Masterpress’s products will highlight the company’s growing role in meeting brand owners’ demand for cost-effective and recyclable packaging.
The Masterpress E-Commerce division will also present a range of envelopes and paper bags, exemplifying 100% sustainable solutions tailored for e-commerce. These offerings include mailer bags, carry-mailer and carry bags.
“At this year’s FACHPACK we want to reinforce our company's commitment to customers who are increasingly seeking both cost-efficiency and sustainability,” said Gabriel Magdaleno, Strategic Product Management & Marketing Director at Masterpress. “Enabled and supported by our hybrid printing technology, shrink sleeves are strategically positioned to meet these dual customer demands, while ensuring that brands stand out, communicate their identity and underline essential product information.”
Persistent focus on sustainability, economic viability amid a shifting landscape
Since last year’s edition of FACHPACK, Europe’s labels and packaging industry has undergone significant changes, from trade disputes to new regulations such as the EU’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and the German Ink Ordinance (GIO). Amid these developments, Masterpress has remained focused on investments, strengthening the company’s capacity to deliver solutions addressing the industry’s increased demand for economically efficient and recyclable solutions.
“We want to show our visitors that pursuing sustainability in packaging is not only possible but economically viable. Achieving this, however, depends on two key factors: cross-industry collaboration and innovation backed by leading research & development (R&D) infrastructure,” added Gabriel Magdaleno. “We believe that the increased demand for innovative solutions, coupled with Europe’s new regulatory landscape, will be a strategic stimulus for closer partnerships within the sector and accelerate the sustainable packaging transition.”
Visitors to FACHPACK will be able to visit Masterpress at Hall 5, booth 5-161, between 23 to 25 September.
