MAPP has already established a reputation as a leading supplier of more than 30,000 items. These include products, parts and chemistries from market-leading brand names such as Cheshire Anilox Technology, Flexo Concepts and GEW. Its inventory spans anilox rolls and storage solutions, inks and liquids, doctor blades, tint sleeves, plate mounting systems and tapes, chiller fluids and most other components necessary to keep flexo converting equipment operational. MAPP is tesa’s largest distributor globally, supplying plate mounting tapes to converters around the world from Missouri, USA and the company’s UK facility in Macclesfield, Cheshire. Warehousing in Poland increases MAPP’s ability to serve the European market. As well as a robust portfolio of parts and consumables for flexo printing, MAPP serves offset and digital/hybrid press users with chemistries, blankets and other items specialised to those print processes. All items are competitively priced.
MAPP’s activities in the UK and Poland serve customers outside of the Americas and can offer same-day dispatch and next-day delivery of items held in stock. This includes the slitting of tesa tapes to any width, depending on the customer’s requirement and their order, thanks to in-house slitting facilities.
Andy Clarke, MAPP’s European Operations Director, said: “Over the last 10 years, MAPP has proven itself as a reputable and reliable supplier of parts and consumables to printers and converters all over the world, regardless of technology or application. Now is the time to strengthen our position in the market and to reiterate the level of service and support we offer.
“We have the ability and capacity to serve almost all printers with the products they need to keep their presses running and jobs moving through their factory. Flexo in particular is a highly competitive market. We understand the pressure to produce quality work quickly and the impact waiting for parts and consumables can have on a business. That’s why we work so hard to deliver the best products with best-in-class lead times and service, and at the best prices.”
Mr Clarke added: “Our partnership with tesa is a great example of this. Plate mounting tapes play a major role in ensuring process efficiency and print quality. While every converter has different equipment and ways of working, these are universal issues that affect everyone printing using flexo, making it important that all have access to the right solution for their specific needs. For those printers and converters we already work with, having such a wide range of tapes is critically important, as it means they are able to specify the type of tape that best suits their production environment and the application.
“This is just one example of how we can make printers’ lives easier and evidences our aim to cement MAPP as the industry’s print products partner.”
