
MM Pharma & Healthcare Packaging is proud to announce that Lorna Cowan, Managing Director of MM Packaging Newmarket, has been shortlisted for two categories in the 2025 Women in Packaging Excellence Awards – Packaging Leadership and Inspirational Mentor, Technical & Operational.
With a career spanning almost 40 years, Lorna has earned a reputation as a trailblazer in packaging industry excellence, having held senior leadership roles across sectors from carton manufacturing to pharmaceutical leaflets.
Since joining MM Packaging Newmarket, Lorna has led a remarkable transformation, building trust and revitalising company culture through structured engagement and talent recognition programmes including the introduction of a skills matrix and tiered pay structure.
Under her leadership, the site implemented process improvements that delivered a £2.6 million revenue increase in just two years. She has mentored employees across all levels – from printers and operations managers to finance administrators and CI leaders – encouraging formal qualifications and supporting career transitions.
