PT Lami Packaging Indonesia (LamiPak Indonesia), a leading provider of high-quality and environmentally friendly aseptic packaging products and solutions, officially commenced commercial operations in April 2024. This factory not only marks LamiPak Global's first expansion, but also become the first paper based laminated aseptic packaging factory in Indonesia that produces end to end manufacturing process.
“Built on an area of 16.2 hectares with a building area of over 55 thousand square meters, the factory is located in Cikande, Serang. It is equipped with world-class machines aligned with Industry 4.0 standards, making it the most advanced facility LamiPak has ever built. This factory is designed with a total capacity of 21 billion packages per year, with construction planned in two phases.”, said Tina Cao, Country Managing Director LamiPak Indonesia.
The first phase, with a production capacity of 9 billion packages per year, began commercial operations in April 2024. After completion of the second and final phase, the production capacity of the factory in Cikande will be one of the largest in the world.
Certification
As a guarantee of quality, LamiPak Indonesia has obtained complete certification required for commercial operations. The successful achievement of ISO 9001, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and ISO 14001 certification is an important step in ensuring production activities meet global standards compliance for Quality Management system and Food Safety Management System and environmental management system.
Meanwhile, other certifications include Halal Certificate, Timber Verification and Legality System (SVLK), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), Food Safety System Certification (FSSC) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). These certifications demonstrate our management’s commitment to providing guaranteed safety and traceability of raw material sources .
