International flexible packaging manufacturer Korozo Group (Korozo) comes to major industry exhibitions in Europe and the USA next month with a portfolio of solutions that usher in the future for flexible packaging around the world.
At FachPack 2025, which takes place 23-25 September in Nürnberg, Germany, Korozo (Stand 4-343) presents solutions for proteins, confectionery items, bakery goods, frozen foods, and snacks. This includes advanced stand-up pouches, high-performance thermoforming and skin films, enhanced barrier packaging, and recyclable and circular options
To create sustainable solutions, Korozo’s proprietary KoroRCY PE-based laminating film is integrated into pouches, films, flow packs, and other pack structures to allow brands to transition to packaging designed to be recycled and which is increasingly circular.
KoroRCY is already used by many brands throughout Europe to create highly functional mono-material constructions that are suitable for existing flexible plastics and PE recycling systems. These offer enhanced barrier and performance characteristics that make flexible packaging structures made with KoroRCY suitable for a wide variety of fresh, frozen and dried food applications, as well as many non-food uses.
One of these projects has recently been shortlisted in the ‘Innovation’ category of the FlexoTech Awards 2025. This saw renowned ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s introduce recyclable pouch packaging for its ‘Peaces’ frozen treats range.
KoroRCY will also be a focus of Korozo’s participation at Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025. Pack Expo Las Vegas 2025 takes place from 29 September to 1 October at Las Vegas Convention Center.
On Booth #SL-19065, attendees are invited to explore Korozo’s latest solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the industry, as well as experience the company’s mission of Delivering Sustainability, Pack by Pack first-hand.
This covers recyclable packaging innovations, advanced pet food packaging solutions, and an extensive portfolio of stand-up pouches and high-performance barrier films. A new FDA-compliant vacuum skin packaging (VSP) film (10K VSP) for fresh seafood will be presented. This delivers on the required oxygen transmission rate of at least 10,000cc/sqm/24 hours, which ensures oxygen levels remain high enough to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria.

At the same time, flexible packaging today must be resource-efficient and designed to be recycled.”
For example, Korozo is already able to offer MDO-PE mono material packaging structures for non-contact sensitive applications that feature 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) content. The PCR percentage is being advanced and will surpass 35% by the end of the decade for non-contact sensitive products. By 2040, the PCR total will be at or above 65%.
