Francisco Azeredo, Hyropac’s new Commercial Manager
Temperature-controlled packaging specialist Hydropac, has appointed Francisco Azeredo as Commercial Manager, bringing heavyweight logistics expertise to the world of cold chain precision.
Francisco's career has spanned the skies - with over 20 years in airline cargo sales, he’s navigated global routes and managed freight by the tonne. Now, he's zeroing in on grams, with a mission to optimise Hydropac's cold chain performance using its advanced ice pack solutions for much smaller temperature-sensitive products.
Francisco’s expertise will directly strengthen Hydropac’s growth in temperature-controlled packaging as the company continues to expand its presence in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and wider cold chain sectors.
His extensive knowledge of GDP compliance and validated transport solutions positions him to help Hydropac’s customers achieve greater product integrity, reduced waste, and stronger sustainability credentials across their cold chain operations.
In his new role, Francisco will lead Hydropac’s commercial and sales teams, supporting the business in delivering on its vision to become the provider of choice for ice and gel pack coolant solutions across the UK and internationally. His focus will be on driving performance across key markets including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, food and pet products - sectors where reliability and sustainability are critical.
“I’m excited to be joining Hydropac at such a pivotal time,” said Francisco. “Hydropac is a leader in manufacturing ice and gel pack solutions that meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability. With increasing global demand for secure, temperature-controlled supply chains, we have an opportunity to support customers in reducing waste, protecting quality, and achieving their own sustainability goals. I’m looking forward to helping deliver on that vision.”
Hydropac’s Managing Director, Colin Rowland added: “Francisco’s experience in international logistics and temperature-controlled distribution brings valuable depth to our commercial team. His background in pharmaceutical and life sciences logistics will also help us strengthen our offering and deliver even greater value to our customers as we continue to grow in regulated and temperature-sensitive markets.”
