The packaging for the Origen Flor Natural perfume collection developed by Hinojosa Packaging Galería Gráfica has won 'Carton of the Year' at the European Carton Excellence Awards 2024, the most prestigious folding carton packaging awards.
After evaluating plenty of high-quality entries based on characteristics such as graphic and structural design, sustainability, innovation and usability, the expert panel of judges considered that the design crafted by Hinojosa deserved to be among the list of finalists. Ultimately, the same jury determined the victory of this solution developed for Laboratorios Flor Natural Parfums, made with Stora Enso board.
The award-winning folding packaging features die-cut details that combine sophistication and functionality in an unparalleled way. A superb box, with combination of inner printing, side die-cutting and embossing, creating a harmonious 3D effect that enhances the perception of volume.
Every detail was taken into consideration during the design phase, in order to create a unique solution with seven different models that, when presented together at the point of sale, will provide a colourful visual experience.
Hinojosa Packaging Galería Gráfica is specialised in manufacturing high added-value packaging for sectors such as perfumery, cosmetics, gourmet food, wines and spirits. It was one of the latest plants to be acquired by Hinojosa Packaging Group, in 2020, and it’s focused on the customer experience and providing a wide and high-quality packaging portfolio.
During the award ceremony in Berlin, the importance of cardboard in the future of packaging was highlighted.
