Ulf Seefeldt, Head of Business Development at M.TEC ENGINEERING GmbH, is looking forward to many interesting discussions at Fakuma 2026.
At FAKUMA 2026, M.TEC ENGINEERING GmbH will demonstrate how companies can reliably manage increasing system complexity in product development. The focus will be on engineering solutions that shorten development times, reduce costs and enhance project reliability.
From reliable component optimisation and the AI-powered optimisation tool M.OPT® to lighting product development, sophisticated mechanical integration, resilient material strategies and circular business models. This includes design for recycling, the targeted use of suitable recycled materials, and material- and supply chain-related strategies for greater resource efficiency and security of supply.
Using a systematic development approach, M.TEC combines expertise in plastics technology with methodological expertise. This includes technical system analysis, risk assessment, supply chain management, model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and AI-based digital optimisation with M.OPT®. In this way, M.TEC’s engineers support customers across all sectors in managing conflicting objectives, complex requirements and increasing pressure to innovate.
As an independent engineering partner, the company has been developing solutions for products, processes, materials, circular economy concepts, logistics and packaging at its Aachen site for more than 35 years. Its in-house simulation expertise plays a key role in minimising development risks at an early stage and enabling more informed decision-making.
A key focus of the exhibition stand is the AI-powered development tool M.OPT®, which was developed by engineers for engineers. The tool helps to find robust solutions more quickly, even when faced with conflicting development objectives and high levels of complexity. Companies benefit from shorter development times, greater process reliability and a more efficient use of resources.
“The demands placed on product development are increasing: development times are continuing to shrink, technical systems are becoming ever more complex, and the economic environment is growing more challenging,” says Ulf Seefeldt, Head of Business Development at M.TEC ENGINEERING GmbH. “Our technical expertise, combined with complexity management and technology, creates transparency, speeds up processes and helps companies bring products to market more safely and efficiently. At the same time, we help our customers to incorporate circular business models at an early stage, thereby systematically linking sustainability, material availability and economic viability”.
Specific examples of applications and project results will be on display at the Feddersen Group’s joint stand in Hall B2, Stand 2213. Individual appointments can be arranged in advance via the company’s website.
