2026 will be a year of new beginnings for g.pivaudran. It will mark the concrete expression of its "100% low-carbon aluminium" commitment. To coincide with Paris Packaging Week, g.pivaudran is taking stock of its progress towards sustainable luxury. After commitments and investments, it’s time for action !
Low-carbon aluminium: spearheading g.pivaudran's strategy
• What are the targets for 2026?
The deadline is here: 2026. Another of g.pivaudran's objectives is to have converted all its ranges to lowcarbon aluminium by the end of the year. This transition will be carried out smoothly, with a 'zero waste' policy and in line with customer demand, i.e. by selling off stocks of materials as and when new orders come in.
• What you need to know about low-carbon aluminium
The low-carbon aluminium used by g.pivaudran comes from renewable energy sources, optimised manufacturing processes and European production. Not only is its carbon footprint reduced, but it is also more traceable. Low-carbon aluminium is transformed by g.pivaudran on its industrial site, a site which has benefited from major investment, for production that is ever more qualitative, efficient and virtuous.
New anodising line: one year on, where does g. Pivaudran stand?
It was the novelty of the end of 2024: g.pivaudran inaugurated its new anodising line. A year and a few months later, the results are more than positive, with objectives achieved and projects underway. As well as doubling the company's production capacity, this new unit has produced convincing results in terms of eco-responsibility
• Reducing carbon footprint,
• 100% green energy by 2026,
• Energy and water savings,
• Reduced consumption of chemical products.
" The investment in our new production unit was the biggest in our history. It is a concrete demonstration of our ongoing commitment to innovation and sustainable growth," says Marc Pivaudran, Chairman of g.pivaudran.
Choosing green energy: a new lever for action As of January 1, 2026, g.pivaudran switched to 100% green electricity thanks to a targeted purchase contract with EDF. In 2027, it will also be connected to a new local wood-fired heating network. This is a first for the department: g.pivaudran will be the first company in the Lot to connect to this type of infrastructure. This major transition will enable the company to free itself completely from fossil fuels, and will mark a new stage in its commitment to decarbonising its processes.
Approaches recognised and validated by institutional players
Making a commitment is the first step. It is also essential to have commitments and results validated by independent bodies.
EcoVadis Platinium certification
EcoVadis Platinum certification places g.pivaudran in the top 1% of companies worldwide for CSR performance. This distinction highlights the company's concrete actions in favour of the environment, ethics, responsible purchasing and social responsibility.
Renewal of the EPV label
G.pivaudran has renewed its "Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant" (EPV) label for a further five years. This award recognises and celebrates the company's expertise. It highlights g.pivaudran's commitment to quality, innovation and passing on its industrial skills.
The first post-processing projects from g.pivaudran will reach the market at the end of 2026
Commitments, investment and the introduction of new production tools have paid off. The company g.pivaudran has recently supported three new projects, all geared towards an ecoresponsible transition:
• Redesign of zamac > aluminium packaging: the customer went from a zamac product to a 100% aluminium design, using low-carbon aluminium and incorporating glueless assembly, 100% sortable for improved recyclability. This product will be launched on the market in late 2026/early 2027.
• Plastic > aluminium packaging redesign: Another customer, also in the perfume industry, is changing its plastic packaging for aluminium (with steel ballast). The product will be released at the end of 2026.
• New bonnet: The new line made it possible to produce a double anodised bonnet. g.pivaudran was able to combine three key elements to convince its customer to entrust it with its production: cost, quality and capacity.
g.pivaudran is making a virtuous transition, in line with its historic expertise: the creation of innovative, made-to-measure aluminium packaging for the global luxury goods market. The company is responding to the ever-increasing challenges facing the industry and, through its commitments, is supporting those of its customers. It shows that we can choose virtuous growth: continuing to improve production (doing more and better), but consuming less.
