AM Labels Limited (AM Labels), an award-winning supplier of complete labelling solutions including manufacturing and warehouse automation, robotics, barcoding and RFID systems, successfully showcased a variety of labelling technology while exhibiting at the Food & Drink Expo and Making Pharmaceuticals in April 2023.
At the Food & Drink Expo, which took place at the NEC in Birmingham from 24th to 26th April 2023, AM Labels demonstrated a range of colour label printers that can support businesses operating in the food and drink industry in improving and streamlining their labelling operations. The SATO FX3-LX standalone label printer and the Epson C4000 colour label printer were particularly popular amongst visitors to AM Labels’ stand, providing a cost-effective solution to the production of high quality food and drink labels. For example, the SATO FX3-LX benefits from a seven-inch, full-colour LCD touch screen, while offering the unique ability to calculate and print labels with allergen, calorie, best before and use-by information for individual products and ingredients, based on its internal product database.
During the three-day exhibition, the AM Labels team also provided advice to businesses on how to ensure their labelling operations adhere to regulations concerning the way in which food is packaged and labelled. Furthermore, visitors to AM Labels’ stand had the opportunity to view a selection of linerless label printers that offer a more sustainable labelling solution and reduces the amount of waste generated during the printing process.
AM Labels also exhibited at Making Pharmaceuticals 2023, where the company partnered with leading printing technology manufacturer, Epson. At Making Pharmaceuticals, which took place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th April, AM Labels and Epson teamed up to showcase the ColorWorks range of on-demand colour label printers. The Epson ColorWorks range, which includes the C4000 Series, the C6000 Series and the C7500 colour label printer, provides a low-cost solution to enable businesses of all sizes to bring their labelling operations in-house, regardless of their needs or requirements. The range prints high quality text and barcodes without compromising on readability, while producing large quantities of labels on-demand and offering companies the flexibility to respond instantly to regulation changes.
