Evertis Brasil, specialists in the production of semi-rigid barrier films, mono and multilayer, for food packaging and other applications, are proud to announce that they have received the ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System Standard) certification, the most internationally recognised, demonstrating that Evertis facilities in Brazil are operating in accordance with the best environmental management practices.
With this achievement, Evertis reinforces their commitment to sustainability, environmental protection and the fight against climate change, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Evertis' Environmental Management system was certified by AENOR, confirming that the plant's system complies with the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001 and highlights the actions they have taken to minimise the impact generated by their activities, focusing on the inclusion of recycled content, eco design, waste management, circular economy and resource optimisation.
Evertis' strategy is based on preventing pollution, as well as increasing the value of goods and services, using fewer resources and minimising the environmental impacts associated with its activity. To achieve these goals, the company commits to:
