The announcement comes as Dizzie launches new smart packaging, a new Reuse Hub facility, and asset tracking platform (ReuseOS) after a crowdfunding campaign to grow their capabilities further and help more brands and retailers move to reusable packaging.
The two companies are planning to collaborate on packaging development as well as the evolution of the tech infrastructure to improve packaging return rates and communications with customers.
Dizzie’s partnership will see Abel & Cole look to double the range within their Club Zero offering. Club Zero allows customers to order & refill numerous household essentials and then return their packaging, all from the comfort of their own home. This unique circular delivery model means customers can significantly cut back on single-use packaging, thus reducing plastic pollution.
Hannah Haas, Transformation Director at Abel & Cole said “At Abel & Cole, we’re constantly looking at ways we can support our customers to shop more sustainably. Having launched and grown our Club Zero refillables offering over the last 18 months, we’re keen to expand our range further and are delighted to be working with Dizzie to extend our capability in reusable packaging”.
Dizzie founder Ben Patten said: “Dizzie are delighted to be providing Abel & Cole with a scalable solution for providing products in reusable packaging. Abel & Cole have pushed so many boundaries - popularising online grocery shopping and organic food - as well as being pivotal in bringing reusable packaging to their customers. It’s a great endorsement of our abilities and the value of what we do, to be working with one the original pioneers in reusable packaging."
