After the success of our previous achievements with high-performance MDO-PE films, COLINES® is proud to announce a further milestone. Ahead of the upcoming K 2025 exhibition in Düsseldorf, we have produced Stand-Up Pouches laminated with a top-quality 70-micron PE-barrier film (manufactured on a 9-layer POLYBLOWN® blown film line, the same line that will be showcased live at the fair) combined with a 25-micron cast MDO-PE printable film obtained with a stretch ratio of 4.8:1.
This cast MDO-PE film, produced with ExxonMobil resins, was then printed on a flexo line by our long-time partner Sumer Plastik, who also carried out the pouch-making operation. The result was outstanding quality, and the finished pouches will be on display at K 2025.

Moreover, the quality of the cast MDO-PE film turned out to be far more stable and consistent compared to the same film produced with blown technology.”
