K 2025 marked an extraordinary success for COLINES®, as the Italian company delivered an unprecedented show at its booth by exhibiting two extrusion lines in operation, along with a converting machine for stretch film engineered by NO.EL. (part of Gruppo COLINES® Holding since 2022).
Throughout the eight days of the exhibition, COLINES® welcomed more than 1,000 visitors, showcasing its state-of-the-art extrusion lines involving both blown and cast technology. The enthusiasm and focused interest of the attendees confirmed the company’s choice to invest in its largest-ever booth, which also featured a two-storey hospitality area.
“People showed great enthusiasm and genuine interest in the lines we ran during the show,” said Nicola Lombardini, COLINES® R&D Manager. “Our demonstrations stood out across the fairground and represented the highest technological standards available on the market. The 9-layer POLYBLOWN® film line produced barrier film using a special recipe for stand-up pouches containing less than 5% EVOH. This allows the pouches to be classified as mono-material, fully PE-based, and therefore fully recyclable. Sustainability was also a key theme for our cast stretch film line, the flagship ALLrollEX® equipped with AI-based virtual production assistant MASTERMIND®. The line alternately produced 2’’ coreless HTHW (high tenacity hand wrap) rolls and 3’’ conventional-core HTPS (high tenacity power stretch) rolls with reinforced edges. Both products were extruded using 35% PCR material”.
These impressions were echoed by Eraldo Peccetti, COLINES® Executive President and CEO: “I am extremely satisfied with the impressive number and quality of visitors we welcomed during the show. We met between 100 and 150 customers per day, which gave us the opportunity to strengthen partnerships, discuss future projects as well as evaluate retrofits on existing lines. I am very proud of what we achieved at K 2025 and thrilled by the reactions we received: visitors could see and feel first-hand how our stretch film lines have become the market benchmark in in-line coreless film production, where we stay unrivalled, and they experienced the significant progress we have made in the blown film segment, which we re-joined just four years ago. We are highly confident about the upcoming months, as we expect to turn into concrete projects the many discussions started at the show”.
