Since 1982, CMI Industries has been dedicated to the design and manufacture of machinery and lines for packaging chemical, cosmetic, parapharmaceutical, and food products. The production of CMI Industries stands out for the perfect balance between advanced technologies, high efficiency, operational flexibility, low energy consumption, and a highly competitive quality/price ratio.
Personalizing solutions based on our customers' needs is at the heart of the company's mission, offering ease of use with high quality standards.
The design and creation of every detail of the machinery take place internally, approaching each new project with passion, enthusiasm, and attention. Production is entirely made in Italy. This means that every part not manufactured internally is supplied by Italian companies located, for the most part, in our same geographical area. In this way, we have total control over processes and order quality. Direct management of all implementation phases of a plant allows us to control materials, components, and all processing steps, thus ensuring a final quality without gray areas.
CMI Industries respects, in the construction of its machinery, the right balance between quality and price, while offering high-quality components. Choosing our machinery or solutions means purchasing a product designed and built 100% Made in Italy. Today, CMI is not just a "household name" for those working in Italy: the export share now accounts for more than 65%, with machines installed in Europe, the Middle East, Australia, North Africa, and interesting openings toward the United States.
In an increasingly competitive sector where even manufacturers from the Far East are aiming for the high end the company starts from a very strong conviction, a cornerstone on which to build the near future: the packaging industry remains one of the most solid engines of Italian manufacturing.
The core business has always been chemicals: we build machines for the filling and dosing of corrosive products, a know-how that very few in Italy possess. However, food is an increasingly important sector for us: from spreadable creams to honey, including mayonnaise, ketchup, and jams, we constantly study new solutions to respond to customer requests and guarantee the same quality and reliability that distinguish our lines.
Logyka-R 2026 manages containers from 200 to 2000 ml with a speed of 15,000 units/hour (750 ml format), thanks to 36 filling stations with magnetic flow meters. It is designed to handle highly corrosive products, with a titanium hydraulic part and acid-proof construction. Dosing precision reaches 0.2% of the nominal value, while the 10-head capper with positive grip guarantees adaptability to the dimensional tolerances of the caps.
The patented Ultracleaning Electronic System allows for automatic washing with an 85% reduction in cleaning time and a 75% reduction in the use of detergents. CIP and SIP phases are completely automated, and the absence of gaskets in the filling section further reduces maintenance.
The formula for the company's success is simple to say but complex to achieve: bring the focus back to the core business, invest in know-how, and guarantee customers "turnkey" solutions that are absolutely Made in Italy. The result? Constant growth that has brought turnover to over ten million euros.
CMI Industries, with 44 years of experience and over 5700 machines installed worldwide, has transformed its know-how into an advanced proprietary Artificial Intelligence platform. The company, historically specialized in chemical filling, has extended its expertise to the food & beverage sector, integrating predictive algorithms and self-learning systems into its filling lines. In the world of industrial packaging, there are those who chase the market and those who have learned to stay one step ahead. CMI Industries decidedly belongs to the second category. Its Artificial Intelligence is not a technological accessory, but a strategic lever that touches every dimension of the business: efficiency, sustainability, operational continuity.
The AI developed by CMI supports programming, process optimization, and machine sustainability. It is a paradigm shift: technology is no longer just a support but becomes an active driver of efficiency and reliability. The integration of historical data, predictive models, and intelligent sensors allows for anticipating failures, optimizing process parameters, and drastically reducing plant downtime.
The most advanced case of this evolution is represented by the new Logyka-R 2026, presented at Interpack. Thanks to a proprietary algorithm, the machine is able to compare operating data with design data already during the SAT and FAT phases, becoming a proactive and transparent system for the operator and corporate ERP systems.
The AI algorithm allows for continuous self-learning, adapting process parameters based on variations in viscosity, temperature, and container volume. This makes the machine a true collaborator for the operator, capable of guaranteeing high productivity, energy efficiency, and dynamic management of process variables. With a footprint of less than 12 m², Logyka-R 2026 represents the perfect synthesis of innovation, compactness, and performance.
Another keyword today is sustainability…
Our machines are already designed to be low energy-consuming, with reduced consumption. For years, we have proposed rapid washing systems to customers that minimize water use, thanks to a patent called "Ultracleaning". Furthermore, we use latest-generation brushless motors instead of traditional asynchronous motors to optimize overall energy efficiency.
CMI machines leverage the management functions of the most modern PLCs, programmed directly by our staff. Multifunction HMI interfaces (touch screen) ensure intuitive and immediate use of all machine systems. The software development logic focused on "total modularity" allows for a constant upgrade of the machines. For example, the same Artificial Intelligence platform is also applicable to existing machines. Indeed, the CMI proprietary AI platform "is powered by our 44 years of applications and solutions in the world of filling and capping".
