"Clement Packaging has launched plant-based, compostable packaging for consumer products. Their portfolio includes containers for sustainable beauty, personal care, and wellness brands that are looking for a 1:1 replacement for plastic.
Previously branded as "Clean Filter Packaging," the family-run company is headquartered in San Francisco, USA and lead by CEO Helen Yang. Clement manufactures in-house at their facility near Shanghai and sources their bamboo, plant resins, and all other raw materials locally in Southern China to reduce carbon footprint.Clement Packaging has invented a patent-pending, clean packaging material that is both sustainable and free of additives (such as plasticizers and hardeners). Notably, this material is compatible with liquids including water, oils, and emulsions without the need for an inner lining. The current plastic-free assortment at Clement Packaging includes rigid jars, bottles, twist-up sticks and various closures. These products have undergone 3rd party lab testing to verify industrial compostability (per ASTM D6400) and ready biodegradability (per OECD 301B).
The Clement team is excited to announce a new launch of semi-flexible packaging coming soon in Q4 2023. This line of squeezable bottles will also be plastic-free and customizable with bespoke tooling, custom colors, and ink-free laser etching decoration.
