This upgrade transitions City Press from its initial HP Indigo 15K installation (October 2024) to full HP Indigo 18K value pack, unlocking new levels of automation, substrate versatility and nonstop productivity for customers. HP Indigo’s offering enables City Press to focus on offset migration and drive new business growth by offering new capabilities to its customers.
Founded in 1932, City Press offers a variety of services designed to provide the most efficient and economical solution to meet the needs of every print job. Installing the HP Indigo 15K — now enhanced with the HP Indigo 18K Value Pack — means City Press can provide quicker turnarounds, especially for short runs, and expand into new, high-value applications such as premium white, four-colour digital foils, and thicker substrates up to 24-point. Print jobs previously delivered through offset, such as traditional presentation folders, can now run more cost-effectively at lower quantities, enabling City Press to serve new and emerging customer segments.
HP Indigo’s Digital Presses provide cutting-edge solutions designed for high-quality, versatile, and efficient digital printing. With the HP Indigo 18K Value Pack, City Press now benefits from enhanced media handling, improved automation, AI-supported tools, and HP’s next-generation print quality management capabilities — all part of HP’s vision for nonstop digital printing. Through HP Indigo’s Liquid Electrophotography (LEP) technology, 7-colour printing, and expanded substrate range, the upgraded system enables true offset-calibre results while accelerating production speeds.
