The partnership between COLINES® and NO.EL. (which joined Gruppo COLINES® Holding in 2022) makes it possible to offer the most suitable and profitable solution for pre-stretch film production.
The package includes our flagship ALLrollEX® cast stretch film extrusion line (optional equipment for performing 800mm diameter rolls available) + off-line pre-stretch machines by NO.EL. (also available in non-stop version), which guarantees doubling the output compared to in-line pre-stretch extrusion while also reducing energy consumption per kg/h.
COLINES® introduced the first in-line pre-stretch solution at the K2016 exhibition, gaining the longest experience in this technology. Based on this expertise, COLINES® has lead a deep analysis comparing in-line and off-line pre-stretch solutions, bringing to significant findings:
- Production efficiency is significantly improved with off-line pre-stretch process. CASE STUDY: an extrusion plant 2000mm-wide for in-line pre-stretch has a maximum output lower than 600 kg/h for a 6 microns film production, while an ALLrollEX® 2000mm COLINES® stretch film extrusion plant can easily achieve 1200 kg/h.
- A combined stretch film extrusion plant plus off-line pre-stretch converting machines by NO.EL. has a lower electrical consumption than in-line pre-stretch extrusion process.
- Due to its limited throughput, an in-line pre-stretch extrusion plant requires a specific design and small extruders, which affect the line flexibility and performances. On the other hand, the eventual use of larger extruders would bring to process instability and reduce the film quality as well. All this issues can be easily solved by choosing the integrated solution offered by COLINES® together with NO.EL.
