At this year’s London Packaging Week, to be held at Excel, London, UK on September 11th and 12th, global sustainable packaging leader Berry Global will demonstrate its ability to provide tailored packaging solutions that enable brands to bring their new products quickly to market and with low minimum order quantities.
The Berry Agile Solutions stand (E50) will showcase the company’s wide range of standard packs and closures, which can be customised through the use of colour, decoration and specialist finishes, to meet specific branding objectives. One of the major highlights will be the launch of a new standard bottle, Chameleon, that will offer new levels of customisation for personal care, homecare and healthcare products.
In addition, Berry will be exhibiting its range of high-performance lamination films from its Flexibles division.
“Brands need to respond quickly to changing requirements and consumer demands, and it is essential that their sustainable packaging can be equally as responsive,” said Joe Horton, Berry Agile Solutions’ Sales and Marketing Director. “London Packaging Week provides the perfect opportunity to demonstrate how our flexible, on-trend and fast-to-market solutions can help businesses of all sizes – from start-ups to national and international companies – maximise opportunities.”
A key theme of the Berry stand will be the company’s ability to develop solutions in line with current market trends. Some of the innovations on display will include new textured finishes, decoration techniques such as embossing and debossing, artwork styles to meet the moves towards designs and graphics such as minimalist and graffiti, and a peek into the colours and trends for 2025
With the ability to support customers’ sustainability objectives being an important element of the Berry offering, the stand will also showcase inspiring ideas and examples of materials and designs that can be incorporated into new packaging. As well as packs that include high-quality post-consumer recycled plastic, there will be examples of those made using Prevented Ocean Plastic™ - discarded plastic that has been collected along coastlines at risk of ocean plastic pollution - and non-carbon black packaging that enables black-coloured packs to be detected during waste sorting processes. Reusable pack solutions will also be displayed.
Many of the new designs have been consumer led, continuing to deliver the right user experience while significantly improving a product’s sustainability.
As well as the many different packs being exhibited, Berry will also demonstrate its range of customer support services that enable the company’s fast development work to take place, including renders, artwork design, and 3D printing.
Berry’s film offerings on show will include the company’s award-winning Entour™ high-performance polyethylene (PE) lamination films. Part of Berry’s B Circular product range, they provide customers with a single source solution for a variety of converter and food films that meet precise application requirements while supporting the move to a circular economy.
Entour™ lamination films are ideal for bags, pouches, stand-up pouches, and flow wraps in markets including foods, wipes, and pet foods. All deliver a number of important benefits such as high levels of product protection, consumer convenience and point-of-sale impact, combined with the ability to be recycled when used in combination with other PE structures. This offers an alternative to traditional multi-material PET/PE and OPET/PE laminated films.
