The BCMPA – the Association for Contract Manufacturing, Packing, Fulfilment and Logistics, celebrated the success of this year’s London Packaging Week show held for the first time at ExCel.
The Association saw a large number of visitors to its stand, and along with four of its members Fillcon, Lyte Packaging, PHL Group and Poppypac enjoyed a very busy show. Outsourcing was a core theme with many businesses seeking support in the manufacture, packing and fulfilment of goods and services.
Emma Verkaik, CEO of the BCMPA said; “London Packaging Week is an essential part of the exhibition calendar, and we are delighted with how it has helped us to continue promoting the key role outsourcing plays for businesses.
“Our members perform a pivotal role in helping brand owners to manufacture their products and to ensure products hit or arrive at consumers’ homes exactly when they are needed. The value they add to a growing number of brands and retailers was clear to see in the interest from visitors at the show.”
Representing a host of industrial sectors including food, drink, personal care, nutraceuticals, general contract packing and eCommerce fulfilment amongst others, the BCMPA stand championed its 200+ members’ capabilities.
The Association will be once again represented at Easyfairs sister show in Birmingham in February 2024, which features the BCMPA’s Contract Pack and Fulfilment zone, providing the perfect opportunity for people to meet face-to-face and discover how outsourcing delivers essential support for brands, retailers, and manufacturers.
