TruePaper: Sustainable Packaging Solution
The main drivers behind the development of TruePaper are the sustainability strategies and goals of our customers, the legal bans on (single-use) plastic in a growing number of countries, the increasingly important implementation of the circular economy - and last but not least, our own motivation and promise to always offer our customers the best packaging solution.
Our new TruePaper is an environmentally friendly, ultrasonic and heat-sealable paper band. TruePaper consists of optionally virgin or more than 50% recycled fibers. It can be recycled in the normal paper cycle and is suitable for direct food contact. Basically, any paper coated with the new water-based adhesive can become TruePaper, which means high flexibility and security in the supply chain.

Minimize packaging
Banding with ATS means only as much packaging as necessary. It is often the better alternative to conventional packaging.
100% recyclable
TruePaper consists of optionally virgin or more than 50% recycled fibers and can be recycled in the normal paper cycle.
Recycling code 22 (PAP)
The recycling code is used to identify various materials for return to the recycling stream. TruePaper can be marked with recycling code 22 (PAP).
Food safe
Printed ATS bands are grade AA certified to BRCGS Packaging Materials Global Standard. The raw materials comply, among others, with the restrictions of the FDA.
FSC certified
TruePaper is also available with FSC certification.
Water-based bonding agent
TruePaper contains a water-based bonding agent that can be sealed with ultrasonic and heatseal technology. Basically, any paper with the new bonding agent can become TruePaper.
High tensile shear strength
The tensile shear strength (sealed joint) of TruePaper is comparable to conventional banding paper coated with PP.
Branding with Banding
Banded products stand out visually and haptically at the point of sale. Easy opening and returning to the recycling stream increase customer satisfaction.
TruePaper wins the most important innovation award in Poland
The GRUPA MTP Gold Medal is the most prestigious innovation award in Poland and fills us with pride. It is a confirmation that we are on the right track with the development of TruePaper.
The desire - or rather the pressure - to do without unnecessary packaging material and plastic is great. Banding means on the one hand only as little packaging material as absolutely necessary, and on the other hand banding machines also consume around 98% less electricity than shrink tunnels, for example.
Banding supports the revised EU legislation
Art. 6 of the EU legislation on packaging and packaging waste requires that all packaging must be recyclable: Our bands made of paper and film are proven to be recyclable.
Art. 9 of the EU legislation on packaging and packaging waste requires that all packaging is reduced to the minimum necessary by weight and volume: Banding reduces the packaging material to the absolute minimum.
Art. 11 of the EU legislation on packaging and packaging waste requires harmonized EU-wide labeling of packaging on material composition: Bands can be printed in advance and during banding additionally and just-in-time.
