The plastics compounding and recycling industries will gather at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, on 23-24 September 2026 for the AMI Compounding & Recycling Expo, a free-to-attend event bringing together technology suppliers, materials companies, recyclers, processors, brand owners and industry experts from across the plastics value chain.
The event combines a major exhibition with a comprehensive conference programme, reflecting the growing convergence between polymer compounding, recycling and circular economy initiatives. Over two days, visitors will have the opportunity to discover the latest technologies, materials and services, gain technical and market insights, and connect with key decision-makers from across Europe and beyond.
"We're looking forward to welcoming the plastics industry to Frankfurt this September," said Andy Beevers, Events Director at AMI. "The conference programme brings together leading experts from across the compounding and recycling sectors to discuss the technologies, regulations and market developments shaping the future of plastics. Combined with a focused exhibition and valuable networking opportunities, the event provides a platform for the entire value chain to share knowledge, explore new ideas and build meaningful industry connections."
The conference programme features more than 50 expert speakers across two free-to-attend theatres focused on compounding and recycling. They include influential representatives from Auto Recycling Netherlands, Benvic, Constantia Flexibles, Coveris, Delta Kunststoffe, Enneatech, EuMBC, Flexible Packaging Europe, Food Contact Center, Fraunhofer LBF, Holland Colours, Hubron, Ineos Inovyn, Invista, Lati, Lifocolor, Mayer Brown, Plastics Europe, Protan, Recycling Europe, Spiral TRC, The Compound Company, Wells Performance Materials and many more.
The programme addresses some of the most important issues facing the industry today, including recycling technologies, innovations in additives, circular economy strategies, polymer performance, processing optimisation, food-contact packaging, regulations such as PPWR, and the increasing integration of recycled content into demanding applications.
Alongside the conference, visitors will be able to meet leading suppliers exhibiting at the event, including companies such as 3M, Aimplas, CPM, Econ, Entex, Farrel Pomini, Gamma Meccanica, Gneuss, Hosokawa Alpine, ICMA San Giorgio, Invista, J-Tec, JSW, LKAB Minerals, Maag, Maris, Mixaco, MPI Chemie, Netzsch, Orion Engineered Carbons, Plas Mec, Plastics App, Sachtleben, SI Group, Sun Chemical, Theysohn, X-Compound and many others showcasing innovations across materials, additives, processing and recycling technologies.
The networking opportunities are equally impressive. Companies that have already registered to attend include Amcor, Avient, Beiersdorf, BMW, Borealis, Essity, Ford, Hexpol, Honda, IKEA, LyondellBasell, Miele, Nestlé Waters, Porsche, Procter & Gamble, Ravago Manufacturing, Remondis, Renolit, Sirmax, Tetra Pak, Veolia Polymers, Victrex, Wavin and hundreds more. They will help to create an exceptional environment for knowledge sharing, business development and industry collaboration.
As sustainability, regulation and evolving customer expectations continue to reshape the plastics industry, the AMI Compounding & Recycling Expo provides a timely opportunity for stakeholders across the value chain to exchange ideas, identify new opportunities and accelerate innovation.
