The UK’s premier event for professionals working the recycling, resource, waste and environmental services industries, RWM attracts more than 12,000 visitors and 3,900 exhibitors. Alongside the opportunity to hear from more than 300 expert speakers, attendees can also attend numerous panel discussions, explore innovative technologies and enjoy a host of networking opportunities.
On day one (13 September), Martin Hyde, Alupro’s sustainability and public affairs manager, will chair a panel exploring the importance of education and upcoming policy decisions in driving recycling rates. The session will also feature Predrag Ozmo, sustainability director at Ball Corporation; Charlotte Davies, resource efficiency leader at Beyondly; and Carolyn Moss, business officer at Leeds City Council. ‘How could high recycling rates be achieved by 2030?’ will take place in the Material Village theatre at 11am.
Martin will also join a panel on day two of the event (14 September), alongside representatives from The Environment Exchange, Valpak and Wastepack. The PRN system – will/should it continue? panel will take place in the Packaging and EPR theatre at 11am.
Commenting on the event, Martin said: “The RWM Expo is the UK’s leading event for the waste, recycling and resource industry, providing a unique platform to discuss critical topics, discover innovative tech and address pressing challenges.
