Albéa tubes extends its portfolio of responsible packaging solutions with new PCR (Post-Consumer Recycled) offers
The Albéa booth at MakeUp in LA will be filled with eco-designed tube offers that help brands reach their corporate sustainability goals. To further contribute to the circular economy of plastics and reduce the amount of virgin fossil resin, Albéa tubes will feature the new Timeless PCR PBL solution for personal care. This 300µm lightweight solution provides a 24% weight reduction vs a standard PBL 400µm. Timeless provides 25% PCR in the total tube thanks to 30% PCR in the web and up to 70% PCR in the tube shoulder. The Timeless PBL web also received APR recognition for recyclability, where collection and recycling are available. As the leader in sustainable packaging, Albéa continues to push for responsible solutions and will soon offer a full PCR tube with PCR caps.In addition, the team will also showcase a range of reduced weight solutions such as EcoFusion Top, the fusion of the head and the cap.
Albéa Cosmetics & Fragrance presents innovative solutions for eyes, lips and skincare applications
At Makeup in LA, Albéa will introduce the new volume collection “Curl” consisting in 4 innovative brushes: 3 mascaras and 1 lash care brush made in Albéa Matamoros, the North America center of excellence for mascara, lipgloss and lipstick packaging. As part of this collection, Albéa created 2 new curved brushes, one super soft allowing to curve and lift and one in cotton to take care of lashes. The team will also present a range of new 3D printed lipgloss applicators with playful design.
For skin care applications, Albéa developed the “galaxy kit”, a mini size pack 100% PP with two separate “storage rooms” for double formula, perfect for a daily usage.
In addition, jars incorporating PCR content as well as “TWIRL”, a refillable and easy-to-use jar will also be on the spotlight.
