The Sheet Plant Association (SPA) is excited to announce a powerful panel discussion at its 111th Conference on Monday 2nd June, tackling a topic raised directly by delegates: Buying and Selling a Business – with a specific focus on the corrugated / fibre-based packaging sector.
The panel will be moderated by SPA Chairman, Tim Gray, Owner and Managing Director of Dairi-Pak, and brings together a respected group of industry leaders and experts:
- David Pedley, Retired CEO of GWP Group Ltd
- David Orr, Group Managing Director at Fencor Packaging Group
- Nick Kirby, Non-Executive Director of Zeus Packaging Group
- Neil Osment, Managing Director of NOA Ltd
- Ian Grimley, Lawyer, Roxburgh Milkins
This industry-celebre panel will explore key questions around business growth through acquisition, succession planning, preparing a business for sale, safeguarding employees' futures, deciding whether to sell all or part of a business, and identifying the right buyers. It will also shine a light on common pitfalls - and how to avoid them.
Tim Gray commented:"This session is a direct response to feedback from our members. With so many in our industry considering the future shape of their businesses, we're delighted to offer real-world insight from those with first-hand experience."
The SPA Committee would like to extend sincere thanks to the panellists for their time, expertise, and ongoing support of both the SPA and the wider industry.
