Win Win Water announces the launch of its innovative bottled water solution, featuring 100% plant-based bottles that are fully biodegradable. This groundbreaking approach aims to address the environmental challenges posed by traditional plastic bottles while providing consumers with high-quality, naturally alkaline electrolyte spring water. The launch event took place on February 18 at the Baltic Market in Liverpool.
The Win Win water bottles, including the label and lid, are crafted entirely from Luminy® PLA by TotalEnergies Corbion, Poly Lactic Acid made from sugarcane. The sugarcane is ethically farmed and sustainably sourced, ensuring a toxin-free product. The bottles, which are designed for rapid biodegradation, break down within 90 days in commercial composting facilities. According to a 2012 report, 271 of said facilities exist in the UK. Despite their compostability, the bottles are durable enough for multiple reuses, offering versatility to consumers.
